Physio built for powerlifters and strength athletes. I don't just treat pain — I analyse your bar path, fix your movement faults, and get you back on the platform stronger. Fully virtual. No referral needed.

What I Treat

A person lifting a barbell with weight plates in a gym.

Powerlifting Injuries

Squat, bench, and deadlift-related pain assessed by someone who speaks your language — bar path, bracing, and all.

Lower Back & Hip Pain

The #1 complaint among strength athletes. I find the root cause and get you pulling heavy again — safely.

Shoulder & Elbow Issues

Bench press shoulder pain, elbow tendinopathy, and overhead dysfunction treated with sport-specific rehab.

Return to Competition

Structured, evidence-based return-to-lifting programs so you step back on the platform stronger than before.

Technique & Movement Faults

Eyes-on analysis of your lift using video review. I fix the technique — the weight will follow.

Post-Surgical Rehab

Guided recovery after orthopaedic surgery, tailored to get strength athletes back under the bar.

Not a powerlifter? No problem.

I Also Work With

Strength athletes are my specialty — but pain doesn't discriminate. Everyone deserves great physio.

General Population

Everyday aches, acute injuries, and chronic pain — assessed and treated with the same evidence-based approach.

Hi, I'm Parth

I’m a Doctor of Physiotherapy (Bond University, Australia) with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University. I work with a wide range of individuals—from active adults and desk workers to strength athletes and those simply looking to move and feel better—helping them overcome pain and return to meaningful activity without relying on passive treatment.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on exercise prescription, movement analysis, and progressive strength training. I focus on identifying and addressing the underlying contributors to pain—not just the symptoms—through structured, individualized programming that aligns with your goals, lifestyle, and experience level. Whether you're recovering from a recent injury, managing a long-standing issue, or building toward higher performance, the goal is simple: improve resilience, restore confidence, and support you in moving at your best.

Having trained alongside leading clinicians in Australia and New Zealand, I bring a global perspective to rehabilitation. More importantly, I prioritize equipping you with the tools, knowledge, and structure to take an active role in your recovery—so you can build independence and long-term results.

Outside of work, I’ve previously competed in powerlifting and have a background in rugby and football, giving me firsthand insight into training, performance, and injury recovery. When I’m not coaching or training, you’ll usually find me following the Toronto Raptors or exploring the outdoors.

Common Questions

Do I need to stop training during rehab?

1

No — and that's the point. Rehab shouldn't mean stopping. I build your program around your training schedule so you can keep lifting while you recover.

Do I need a referral?

2

No referral needed. You can book directly through my website. I'm registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO).

What do I need for a virtual session?

3

A phone or laptop, a space to move, and ideally the ability to video yourself lifting. That's it — no gym, no equipment required.

How does payment and insurance work?

4

Sessions are self-pay. I provide official receipts that you can submit to your extended health insurance provider for reimbursement. Most plans cover physiotherapy.
